Snap iPad Stand & Case

My initial opinion about the Snap Tablet Stand & Case was that this is a 5-star product. Unfortunately, that opinion was dashed upon my first attempt to use my iPad Pro with the new case outside my home. I have several USB-C cables to charge my iPad; some remain in my office, and some I keep in my backpack, ready for the road. When I set up my iPad at my remote location to work that day, I found that none of the USB-C cables in my pack would charge the iPad. I tried different cables and rebooted my iPad, but the cables still would not charge the iPad. Finally, I wondered if perhaps the case was the problem, because it was the only new element in my set up? So I removed the iPad from the Moft case and boom—the iPad began charging when I plugged in any of my travel cables.

It turns out that the cable I normally use to charge the iPad in my home office has a slightly different design. As you can see in the attached photo below, the plug housing on my home cable (left) has a beveled edge, making where the plug inserts into the case's opening, then into the iPad, just a millimeter or two smaller than the rest of the plug housing. My travel cables (right), do not have the beveled design, thus preventing them from plugging fully into the iPad unless I remove it from the case.

So, although I love everything about this stand and case otherwise, having to remove it from the case to charge my device with extremely common USB-C cable designs makes it a serious enough flaw to withhold that 5th star. I hope that future versions of the Moft Snap Tablet Stand & Case will fix this flaw.

Build quality of both the stand and case are excellent. I think the case is one of the few that works seamlessly with the Magic Keyboard, and the detachable stand is super versatile and sturdy. I would love to see an easier way of accessing the iPad volume buttons in a future iteration of the case, since right now you can reach them but you have to twist your fingers a bit. Overall a great product, great buying experience and the customer service team at Moft was amazing, they helped me solve an issue with a lost USPS package.

Light weight , better grip and Apple Pencil storage. Great compatibility with magic keyboard.

I just received my case and I am very satisfied. It is very light and goes very well with my keyboard. However, I find it a little thin and I wonder if it is resistant.

I have been using the Moft Snap Tablet Stand & Case for about a month and must say that it is fantastic. I am doing my best to go paperless and it is so easy and quick to move from the magic keyboard to the stand that it makes going paperless that much easier. Would definitely recommend it!

My ipad pro 12.9 m1 is safe and has an elegant appearance with these two products, and I feel my iPad is naked without them, my only point is that I hope that the hole for the port is bigger because one of my connectors didn't get in so I had to make it wider manually

I like the product so far as it really makes things easier in every way for me to use the ipad.
Only issue was the long time delivery, could have been better if express shipping was there.
In general i really love the design and flexibility in angles.

It is definitely very useful in event i need a portrait view of my tablet.

Somewhat difficult to maneuver, but it gets better

Wished I bought it earlier. The different angles makes the iPad Pro more convenient to use with the pencil. Can't decide at the moment on whether to get the float stand or another of these for my other iPad. A happy buy.
